The City of Kingston planning committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.

193 Resource Rd. – McIntosh Perry Consulting Engineers Ltd. – D35-001-2017

Applications for Official Plan amendment and Zoning Bylaw amendment to amend the Official Plan to create a site-specific amendment to the Business Park Industrial designation to include the indoor storage of equipment, including cranes, as a permitted use and to amend the Zoning Bylaw to change the OS zone to a BP-2 zone and to expand the permitted uses in the current BP-2 and OS zone to include the indoor storage of equipment including cranes.

950 Centennial Dr. – Reichmann Seniors Housing Development Corporation – D14-010-2017

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to reduce the on-site parking ratio through the application of a retirement home to dwelling unit ratio that would facilitate a future site plan modification for the development of the Phase 2 lands with a memory care centre and medical offices. A site-specific definition of ‘retirement home suite' is proposed.

1276 Brackenwood Cres. – E.R. Trought Design – D14-002-2017

Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to reduce the parking requirement to one on-site parking space to accommodate both the principle dwelling unit and the secondary suite on the property. Relief from lot area and lot coverage is requested to recognize the existing structure.

North King's Town Secondary Plan – Visioning Report & Preliminary Market Analysis

The Visioning Report and Preliminary Market Analysis for the North King's Town Secondary Plan will be presented to planning committee. The presentation of the visioning report is the final component of the first phase of the secondary plan. Phase two of the North King's Town Secondary Plan will involve a number of technical studies including a land-use plan, a transportation plan, a servicing plan and a financial and implementation plan.

Pending and Committed Development – Updated Dec. 31, 2016

The purpose of this report is to provide information on the number of pending and committed residential dwelling units in the City's development inventory, limited to those within the urban boundary. This report also provides information on residential building permit activity that has occurred between Jan. 1, 2007 and Dec. 31, 2016.
