Public Notice - Planning Committee - May 2, 2019

The City of Kingston planning committee will meet to discuss the matters listed below beginning at 6:30 p.m.
16 Grange St. – AAP Developments– D14-039-2018
Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to develop the now vacant property with a two-storey building containing a total of five dwelling units. Two two-bedroom units are proposed on each level of the building, except for the basement, which is proposed to contain one dwelling unit plus amenity space. A driveway is provided along the east property line to access the parking spaces located in the rear yard. A total of five parking spaces are provided at the rear of the property including one accessible parking space. Both indoor and outdoor communal amenity spaces are also provided on-site.

1020 and 1044 Lancaster Dr. – Limestone District School Board & the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board – D14-024-2018
Application for Zoning Bylaw amendment to rezone the lands to allow a reconfiguration of the access and vehicular circulation to allow the two sites to function jointly to improve vehicular circulation, bus and parent drop-off, and safety for children walking and being dropped off. To allow this change, the school sites need zoning relief to address different performance standards for each school as it relates to front-yard parking and the angle of intersection of the driveway with the public road allowance.
