Public Open House - Industrial Land Strategy Review

June 3, 2014 -

The City is conducting an Industrial Land Strategy Review of City-owned and privately-owned industrial land within Kingston to develop a long-term vision and strategy to ensure the provision of an adequate supply of jobs for the city's growing population.

You are invited to attend a Public Open House on Wednesday, June 18 between 6 and 8 p.m. in Meeting Rooms A&B at the INVISTA Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd. (at Fortune Crescent).

At the Open House, the public can review display boards describing the purpose of the study and existing conditions and speak to staff and the consulting team of Watson & Associates Economists Ltd. A 6:30 p.m. presentation by the consultant will offer an overview and review key issues to be addressed through this study.

Come give your feedback to help develop a long-term vision for the City's Industrial Lands and let us know what issues are most important to ensure that Kingston remains a vibrant, complete and competitive municipality.

We hope that you can join us to help shape policy that will protect employment uses and identify current and future economic trends shaping Kingston's economy.
