Third Crossing east-side near-neighbour meeting rescheduled for March 5

February 22, 2019 –

The meeting for neighbours who live near the east-side landing of the Third Crossing has been rescheduled for 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at the Fire Station at 211 Gore Rd.  Originally scheduled for Feb. 12, the meeting was postponed due to a snowstorm.

At this meeting residents can anticipate hearing about the latest site work and to ask questions of the project team. City staff will be giving a brief presentation at 5:45 pm that will cover:

  • What construction will look like in the area
  • Early work continuing into 2019 – including what site work will happen  and when
  • Options for mitigating noise
  • Site safety – fencing and on-site staff
  • Tree removal and restoration plans

A near-neighbour meeting for the west-side landing of the Third Crossing was held on Feb. 11.
