Please see below for a list of road construction projects and events expected to have an impact on traffic flow next week.

Princess Street reconstruction
The intersection of Montreal and Princess streets is closed to vehicular traffic until mid-May. Pedestrians can continue to cross here.
Princess Street is reduced to one lane between Sydenham and Clergy and on-street parking is reduced to one side of the street. Motorists should expect delays.
Princess Street remains closed:
- from Bagot to Montreal until April.
- from Sydenham to Montreal until the end of May.
Motorists should expect occasional delays at the intersection of Bagot and Princess Streets while crews complete work associated with Princess Street reconstruction project.
Businesses on downtown Princess Street remain open and accessible during this project.

Kingston Transit riders: please note that a temporary stop for routes 2, 4 and 18 has been set up on the south side of Queen Street at Montreal Street to accommodate bus detours associated with the Princess Street closure. Other construction delays
Be prepared for minor delays as Utilities Kingston electric crews work on the north side of Johnson Street west of Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard on Saturday, March 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Starting Monday, March 7, work to complete sewer repairs begins on Montreal Street between Princess and Brock. This block remains open to local traffic to allow for deliveries and access to the Upper Bruce parking lot.
Rogers K-Rock event road closures
King Street is closed from The Tragically Hip Way to Place D'Armes from Saturday, March 5 from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9 for a cheerleading competition and Marianna's Trench concerts.
Road reconstruction projects
Work to reconstruct the following roadways is underway:
- Princess Street between Bagot and Clergy
- Montreal Street between Queen and Brock
- Sydenham Street between Queen and Princess
- Clergy Street between Queen and Princess
