FROM 1 A.M. TO 5 A.M. ON MARCH 25, 2016

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists and pedestrians of an upcoming closure affecting vehicular and pedestrian traffic on the La Salle Causeway.

The closure is required to maintain the bascule bridge. Work will take place on Friday, March 25, 2016, from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.

During this time, vehicles will not be allowed to cross the bridge. Work will cease periodically to allow pedestrian traffic to cross. PSPC and the City of Kingston are working together to ensure timely access for emergency vehicles.

The schedule above may change due to inclement weather.

Safety is a top priority for PSPC, and we are committed to ensuring the continued integrity of the bridges we manage. We apologize for any inconvenience these traffic restrictions may cause and thank everyone for their understanding.
