Tweet feedback on Kingston Hydro's five-year electricity plans
April 7, 2015 -
Kingston Hydro and Utilities Kingston want you to Tweet your feedback on their five-year electricity plans from April 8 to 10. Go to www.utilitieskingston.com and look for the "Power Up!" page link to get an overview of the plans – then follow @utilitieskngstn and the #PowerUp! hashtag to join the conversation.
Linked to the Power Up web page is a four-minute video, Reinvesting in our Community's Future, that offers an overview of the major areas of focus between 2016 and 2020 to improve the safety and reliability of the Kingston Hydro electricity distribution system, while reducing the number of power outages to customers in central Kingston.
Utilities Kingston is providing this and other opportunities for consumers to provide feedback on the reliability of the Kingston Hydro electricity distribution system and the spending decisions Utilities Kingston will make over the next five years.
Kingston Hydro's electricity distribution area is operated by the employees of Utilities Kingston. Its five-year electricity distribution plan, that will help determine the company's priorities and rates between 2016 and 2020, will be submitted to the Ontario Energy Board.
