This year's Livable City Design Awards recognize Kingston building projects completed between Jan. 1, 2014 and Dec. 31, 2016 that demonstrate a superior level of design. In addition to the People's Choice Award, the City will also present Awards of Excellence and Awards of Merit to selected projects.
The projects are being evaluated on the following: significance to the city; significance to their community; innovation; context; execution; green design; and accessibility. Conservation practices are also being considered for heritage restoration projects.
Join us to celebrate excellence in design! The Livable City Design Awards will be handed out at a ceremony at Memorial Hall, City Hall on Nov. 14. The public is welcome to attend.
