null West Street boat launch to close temporarily for improvements
July 29, 2016 –
Boaters who use the West Street boat launch at 1 Ontario St. are advised that the launch will be closed on Aug. 2 and 3 while the City of Kingston makes improvements to the launch.
During the closure, boaters cannot access the launch. Five other municipal boat launches are available:
- Portsmouth Olympic Harbour – 53 Yonge St.
- Collins Bay Wharf – 4086 Bath Rd.
- Grass Creek Park – 2991 Hwy. 2
- Lake Ontario Park – 920 King St. W.
- Woolen Mill Boat Ramp (at Emma Martin Park) – 1 Cataraqui St.

This closure was originally scheduled for July 27 and 28, but was postponed due to weather.
