null Work slated to begin on Memorial Centre grandstands
July 26, 2016 –
The grandstands at the Memorial Centre are undergoing a facelift. Work to repair the concrete grandstands begins July 27 and take approximately three weeks.
For safety purposes, construction fencing will be put up around the grandstands and that area of the facility will be unavailable for public use until the work is completed. The rest of the Memorial Centre remains open to residents.
Memorial Centre is located at 303 York St. and is home to the Memorial Centre Farmers' Market, held on Sundays during the summer months.
Construction updates will be posted on the City's Facebook and Twitter accounts and online.
