null Work to Hanson Garage set to resume in March

February 23, 2017 -

Rehabilitation work on the Hanson Garage on Brock Street will begin again on Monday, March 6. The garage will remain open, but its parking capacity will be reduced by up to 120 parking spaces at a time.

Occasional closures of the facility may be required to safely complete ground-level work and work near the entry/exit lanes.  Motorists will be notified of expected closures on the parking page on the City's website and on the @cityofkingston Twitter feed.

The first stage of this ongoing rehabilitation work was finished in 2016. This final stage of work is expected to be complete by mid-summer. The contractor is making efforts to minimize noise and dust as much as possible.

Parking may be found at the nearby Robert Bruce Garage on Bagot Street at Brock Street, the Chown Parking Garage further west on Brock Street as well as surface lots north of Princess Street.

For additional parking options, see
