Join us for a neighbourhood walk in Central Kingston

Tell us how you live, see and experience neighbourhoods within the Central Kingston Growth Strategy study areas - join City staff and the project team for neighbourhood walks!

The purpose of the neighbourhood walks is for residents to identify the existing character of the various neighbourhoods within the Central Kingston Growth Strategy study area.

Neighbourhood character is a land use planning and urban design concept that focuses on the size, shape, location and type of buildings, along with their relationship to the size and shape of properties and the public realm. It is often associated with the era of a neighbourhood’s development and is subject to change over time as the neighbourhood evolves.

Neighbouhood walks are taking place:

  • Wednesday June 13, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday June 14, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday June 16, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Monday June 18, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Walks are approximately 2 km long and paper feedback forms will be provided for participants to provide feedback.
