Updated Tree and Site Alteration bylaws to go to planning committee

The updated Tree and Site Alteration bylaws will be going to planning committee as a public information session, on Thursday, March 2. The planning committee meeting is at 6:30 p.m. in Memorial Hall, City Hall, 216 Ontario St.

The bylaws have been updated following the public consultation that was held in the fall.

The Tree Bylaw regulates the destruction of, or injury to, trees and the Site Alteration Bylaw regulates the placing or dumping of fill, the removal of topsoil and the alteration of the grade of land.
