2018 Municipal Election

The upcoming Municipal Election to elect a mayor, city councillors and school board trustees will be held on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018. Nominations open on Tuesday, May 1 (formerly nominations opened the first business day in January in the year of the election) and close on Friday, July 27 at 2 p.m. (formerly nominations closed the second Friday in September).

City extends in person voting until 9:15 p.m.

The City of Kingston is one of a number of municipalities that have been affected by online voting issues.

Monday is the final Voting Day in the 2018 election

If you haven’t voted yet, plan to cast your ballot in the municipal election at your voting place in-person on Monday, Oct. 22 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Vote online or in person until 8 p.m. on Oct. 22

More than 6,200 residents so far have exercised their right to vote in the municipal election both in person and via internet voting.
