null HRC Lecture Series to celebrate 2019 heritage property grant recipients
July 17, 2019 -
The next event in the City's HRC (Heritage Resource Centre) Lecture Series will begin by recognizing this year's heritage property grant recipients. The City of Kingston is investing $50,000 in 10 heritage restoration projects that will help support the conservation of these heritage properties. The grant recipients will be recognized on July 25 at 2 p.m. Councillor Jim Neill will present each recipient with a certificate.
The certificate presentations will be followed by a unique lecture from John Sinclair of Sage Restoration on the revival of centuries-old linseed oil paint as a preferred material in buildings in Europe and here in Canada. This presentation will provide valuable insight for homeowners, building services and construction professionals as well as conservation specialists.
This is a free event. Light refreshments will be provided. Those interested in attending are invited to RSVP.
