null Kingston Transit and Improbable Escapes partner to create an escape room on a transit bus
July 31, 2019 -
Kingston Transit and Improbable Escapes will again partner to create a free escape room on a stationary transit bus during Princess Street Promenade on Saturday, Aug. 3. The street event, hosted by Downtown Kingston!, will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Kingston Transit will also offer free transit throughout the day on all routes.
"We had great success with our Improbable Escapes partnership at last year's Princess St. Promenade events so we decided to partner once again with a new adventure," says Jeremy DaCosta, director of transit and fleet services. "This innovative, family friendly experience, named Mad Labs, aims to make the bus into game while escapees will work to save Kingston from a mad scientist."
The bus will be located near the corner of Princess Street and Bagot Street in downtown Kingston. Participation is on a first come, first serve basis. Based on previous one-day events hosted by Improbable Escapes, organizers anticipate a large number of escape room players will visit the event for this one of a kind experience.
