null Music in the Gardens free concert series returns to Lions Civic Gardens this summer

Music in the Gardens brings live, local music to the west end of Kingston on select Wednesday nights from 7 to 8 p.m. in July and August. Bring your family, friends and a lawn chair to the Lions Civic Gardens and enjoy free music shows throughout the summer, ranging in genres from Celtic to jazz to pop to cabaret.
Presented in partnership by the City of Kingston's recreation and leisure department and cultural services department, Music in the Gardens kicks off on Wednesday, July 10 at 7 p.m. with Celtic band the Celtic Kitchen Party.

- July 10 – The Celtic Kitchen Party (Celtic)
- July 24 – Chantal Thompson (Jazz, Soul and R&B)
- Aug. 14 – Big Phat Horn Band (Pop)
- Aug 28 – Beautiful Noise: Cliff Edwards and Janice Wilkins (Cabaret)
The Music in the Gardens series is possible thanks to the City of Kingston, the Kingston Musicians Union and the Music Performance Trust Fund (MPTF).
Directions to Lions Civic Gardens
The Lions Civic Gardens are located next to the Cataraqui Town Centre on 875 Gardiners Rd. close to Princess St. Parking is available at the Cataraqui Town Centre. There is an accessible drop-off area available at the top of the park. Drivers can use the road behind Isabel Turner Library at 935 Gardiners Rd. to access the area.
