null Notice of Intention - Permanently close, declare surplus and dispose of municipal property - Farm Lot 24 Concession 1

Pursuant to the City's Public Notice Policy and the Disposition of Real Property Policy take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kingston intends to permanently close, declare surplus and dispose of the following municipal property:
Lands affected: A portion of the highway over Part of Abstract Block "PP" Farm Lot 24 Concession 1, also known as York Street, further described as Part 3 on Reference Plan 13R-22061, City of Kingston.
Explanatory note: This portion of road allowance is a remnant of York Street, formerly Old Road, prior to the realignment of York Street terminating at Pine Street. A bylaw to permanently close the road is required to correct title to the property at 183 Pine Street which is still subject to the interest of the municipality.
City Council will consider these matters on August 13, 2019 at 7:00 pm at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Kingston.
Anyone wishing to be heard regarding these matters should contact the Clerk's Office or provide written comments before 4:30 pm, August 12, 2019.
In the event that the matter is deferred, no further public notice will be given.
