Proposed visual design guidelines include:

  • Street elements such as lighting and street furniture that contribute to the visual character of the Highway 15 corridor.
  • Plantings along the Highway 15 corridor to create a green environment, and support broader community goals of sustainability.
  • Where required, noise reduction fencing to positively contribute to the visual character of the corridor.

View the draft visual design guidelines document by visiting, Comments and feedback can be emailed to Chris Wicke, senior planner, at until Dec. 15.

The purpose of this meeting is specific to the visual design guidelines. Other project elements for the Highway 15 Class EA have been considered in previous open houses and the final study recommendations will be presented to Council for their consideration in early 2018.
