null Sessions offer overview of Williamsville construction

Members of the public and area businesses are invited to attend their choice of two sessions being held to provide information on construction plans to implement Phase I of the Williamsville Revitalization project. Roadways, sewer and utility infrastructure, sidewalks, boulevards and lighting will all be completely rebuilt as part of this project. 

This two-year construction project, expected to begin in early March, will affect Princess Street from the intersection at Bath Road/Concession Street to Macdonnell Street, as well as these side streets:

  • Drayton Avenue from Princess Street to Concession Street
  • Tower Street from Princess Street to the north limit
  • Frontenac Street from Jenkins Street to York Street
  • Albert Street from Princess Street to 60m north of Mack Street

Two sessions are being offered to accommodate both the residents and business owners in the Williamsville area.

WHEN: Two information sessions are set for Wednesday, Feb. 12:

  1. 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
  2. 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE: Princess Street United Church, 484 Albert St.

WHO: Staff from the City, Utilities Kingston, the Chamber of Commerce and Len Corcoran Excavating.

WHAT: An overview of Phase 1 construction plans to revitalize Williamsville.
