null Work begins on new sports field and entrance at INVISTA Centre campus
September 9, 2015 –
Work has begun to develop a sports field that will accommodate track and field throwing events and improve the nearby south entrance to the INVISTA Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd.
The project will be built to International Association of Athletics Federations standards and will allow for javelin, hammer and discus events, as well as traditional field sports such as soccer. The field is adjacent to CaraCo Home Field – the City of Kingston's premier sports field.
The INVISTA Centre's south entrance is being redesigned to better serve those who use the track facilities and the throwing field's future users.
Use the INVISTA Centre or CaraCo Home Field? Please note you should use the INVISTA Centre's main entrance as construction will limit access to the south entrance.
