At the May 2 council meeting, councillors approved an amended design for the project that maintains two westbound traffic lanes by eliminating the cycling lane on the north side of Bath Road.

Council also endorsed the staff recommendation to amend the parking bylaw to allow parking in a new location on the south side of Bath Road immediately west of Riley's Garden Centre. This will accommodate overflow customer parking and delivery vehicles between the traffic lane and multi-use pathway.
