Name: Mark Bergin


Mark Bergin is a photographic artist, photojournalist, and creative writer. His photography specializes in dance, theatre, concert, fashion and street art. His images have been captured around the world, including photographing ancient stone circles and burial tombs in Ireland, surfers in Hawaii, and the underground world of New York City. His works—more than 800 articles and 2000 photographs—have appeared in publications around the world. Mark is the former Managing Director of the International Society for Child and Play Therapy, and currently teaches Photography and Photoshop at St. Lawrence College as well as at the Tett Centre.

Mark's workshops vary from basic photography skills to advanced visual composition, communication and storytelling. He also can provide instruction in basic and advanced Photoshop techniques. Creative writing workshops include ‘What makes fiction work?' as well as character development, memoir writing, and creative imagery.

Mark prefers to work with middle school & high school students, adults, seniors, families and special needs communities.
