Name: Patsy Johnson


Patsy is a guitarist, singer and educator. She has released two albums, and performed at local venues such as the Women's Arts Festival in Kingston. Patsy has over ten years of experience as an Educational Assistant with the Limestone District School Board. She also holds an Autism and Behavioural Science Graduate Certificate from St. Lawrence College.

Patsy offers students the opportunity to express themselves through song. Patsy related experiences includ conducting group sing-alongs that encourage group interaction and participation, introducing music in Kingston Schools led with guitar and songs specifically about "Inclusion", teaching students lyrics and actions to sing as a group, collaborating with Artist/ Early Childhood Educator Shari Doseger, writing short "ditty" songs with students, running parent/child drop in centre entertaining with appropriate sing-along songs, and participating in coffeehouses/ spiritual song leading. Patsy has also worked as an Educational Assistant with L.D.S.B. for 15 years working with students with learning exceptionalities.

Patsy prefers to work with Elementary and Middle school students, as well as Seniors and Special Needs.
