Canada Day Beach Party at Grass Creek Park

Spend this Canada Day relaxing on the beach, swimming or enjoying some free family fun with us at Grass Creek Park!

Events will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with fireworks at Confederation Basin at 10 p.m.

Ongoing activities throughout the day:

  • Hands on Exotics shows (noon and 3 p.m.)
  • Sand sculpture artist, Rodney Watson
  • Meet Chase and Skye from Paw Patrol
  • Face painting and balloon twisting
  • Bubble art with Walter Corsetti
  • DJ and photo booth by Diamond Productions
  • Mini-putt
  • Inflatables
  • Games
  • Wagon rides (from parking area to event site)

There will be an ATM, food vendors and free parking on-site. Please note that the dog park will be closed on Canada Day.

Kingston Fire and Rescue is encouraging residents to enjoy the City's fireworks display at Confederation Basin instead of hosting their own. If you are celebrating with your own family fireworks show, please read the following tips to help keep your celebration safe:

The event will run rain or shine unless severe weather is expected so dress accordingly. Don't forget to bring your lawn chair and reusable water bottle for the Utilities Kingston Water Buggy!
