Canada Day will be celebrated over 4 days to mark Canada's Sesquicentennial. Kick off your summer by celebrating in Kingston.

Today's events

6 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Kingston Public Market – Springer Market Square.

9 a.m. - Limestone Mile

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pump House History in Motion – free admission and activities.

Come to the Pump House where history will be in motion with FREE admission to the museum including the Kingston, Believe it or Not Exhibition, An Engage for Change information table with an opportunity to make a contribution to the Reconciliation Tree and  Canada 150 block prints with the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum,

10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Artfest Kingston – City Park

11:00 a.m. - Canada Day People Parade - The parade begins at the Metro parking lot at Princess and Barrie Street.

12 p.m. - Civic Ceremony -  Sesqui Stage at City Hall

1 to 6 p.m. - Wagon rides, kids' activities, inflatable toys and more! Ontario Street and Confederation Park & Brock St.

1 to  6 p.m. - Vintage Ferris wheel – Ontario St. in front of Visitor Centre

1 p.m. - Mayor's Sail Past on Lake Ontario - Crawford Wharf, Confederation Basin

1 p.m. to 10 p.m. - Live music and performances – Sesqui Stage at City Hall

  • 1 p.m. – The Savannah Shea Band
  • 2 p.m. – Little California
  • 4 p.m. – Lisa Vee & the VIP
  • 5 p.m. – Lotus Shaker
  • 7 p.m. – Spencer Evans
  • 8 p.m. – Kim Pollard Band
  • 9 p.m. – Still Standin'

3 and 6 p.m. - "The Dream Catchers"  musical performances – Sesqui Stage at City Hall

10 p.m. - Fireworks - Bigger and better than ever! Come to Confederation Park for your best view of the Canada Day fireworks spectacular!
