Kingscourt Library - Last day celebrations

Start Date:
End Date:
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Kingscourt Branch Kingston Frontenac Public Library 115 Kirkpatrick St.

Saturday, Sept. 16, is the final day of service for the Kingscourt branch on Kirkpatrick Street. The last day at this branch will be marked by celebrations and fond farewells.  A very special children’s concert will be given by award-winning performer Peter Puffin, and light refreshments will be served.  The celebrations go from 2 to 5 p.m., and the children’s show will be at 3 p.m.  Come join in the fun!

There will still be library service in Kingston’s north end when Kingscourt closes, though.  On Monday, Sept. 18, we will introduce our brand-new pop-up library!  This mobile library will circulate in a library vehicle throughout the community to provide services until the new Rideau Heights branch opens in the Rideau Heights Community Centre in early 2018.
