Kingston Transit invites the public to attend its annual meeting to review and offer input on its accessibility plan on Tuesday Sept, 29.

Kingston Transit provides bus service within the urban area of the City of Kingston and, under contract, to the neighbouring community of Amherstview. We recognize that public transit is an important link to work, social events and activities for our riders. Kingston Transit offers a variety of convenient and accessible travel options to get you where you want to go. Kingston Transit is a friendlier way to get around. It's practical and economical.

501 & 502 Express route changes
Beginning September 8, Express routes 501 and 502 service changes:

  • 15 minute a.m. and p.m. peak service Monday to Friday
  • NEW – 20 minute service mid-day Monday to Friday
  • 30 min service evenings & weekends

Holiday schedules

Bus service operates on a Sunday schedule on Family Day, Victoria Day, Canada Day, the Civic Holiday (in August) and Labour Day and Thanksgiving Monday. Route 18 will run on a weekday schedule on these days. Kingston Transit does not operate on Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday.

Park & Ride
