Celebrate artistic excellence at the 2025 Mayor’s Arts Awards reception on November 24
Join us as we shine a spotlight on local creators and arts champions at the 2025 Mayor’s Arts Awards reception on Monday, November 24, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Memorial Hall in City Hall.
The event will unveil and honour the 2025 recipients of the Mayor’s Arts Awards, recognizing their outstanding contributions to Kingston’s thriving arts sector.
“The Mayor’s Arts Awards recognizes the meaningful, long-lasting contributions artists and arts leaders make to the city,” says Megan Sirett, Manager, Events and Programs, Arts & Culture Services, City of Kingston. “Their creativity, innovation and commitment to professional artistic practice builds a dynamic arts sector that is part of the reason why Kingston is such a vibrant place to live.”
Following an open call and selection process facilitated by the Kingston Arts Council, this year’s award recipients were selected from 54 nominations by a subcommittee of the Arts, Culture and Heritage Committee.
All are welcome to attend the event and join in recognizing the artists and arts leaders who help shape Kingston’s cultural landscape.
