City of Kingston facilities remain open during significant weather event

During today’s forecasted snowfall, all municipal facilities will maintain regular operating hours, and the City remains open to serve the community. Public services will continue to operate, although some delays may occur.

In accordance with the City’s Inclement Weather Policy, we are making every effort to maintain normal business hours and service levels while continuing to prioritize the safety and well-being of both residents and staff.

Public Works crews will be focusing first on arterial and collector roads during the weather event, followed by residential streets. Residents are advised to use extra caution and are reminded that winter maintenance service levels for roads and sidewalks may not be met due to forecasted heavy snowfall and cold temperatures lasting beyond the snowfall ending.
