Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise the public that the LaSalle Causeway will be fully closed to vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians to allow for the temporary opening of the main marine navigation channel during the following periods:

Road Closures
- Aberdeen Street - William to Johnson – closed to accommodate construction activity and staging.
- Albert Street – Princess to Mack – closed to accommodate construction activity and staging at 484 Albert St.
- Barrie Street – Bagot to Union – closed Nov. 3 to 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day to accommodate operations.
- Barrie Street – Queen to Colborne – closed for construction related activity at 283 Queen St.
- Creekford Road – Bayridge to Westbrook – closed Nov. 1 at 7 a.m. to Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. to accommodate a culvert replacement.
- Brass Point Bridge – closed Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the replacement of bridge deck planks. Motorists are asked to plan their travel accordingly and to exercise caution in the area.
- Earl Street – Collingwood to Toronto – closed for sewer separation and road rehabilitation work.
- Emily Street – King to end of Emily – closed Nov. 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the unveiling of a new monument at Macdonald Park.
- Kingscourt Ave – Concession St and First Ave – closed Oct 10 to Nov 21 for gas main installation by the Utilities Kingston contractor.
- Raglan Road – Division to Main – closed until Nov. 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day for a gas main installation.
- Toronto Street – Durham to Park – closed Nov. 3 to Nov. 28 for installation of new water, sanitary and storm services.
- University Avenue – Union to Stuart – closed Nov. 3 at 7 a.m. to Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. to dismantle a tower crane.
- Welbourne Avenue – Chelsea to Everitt – closed Oct. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for the Wicked Welbourne Block Party.
- Victoria Street - Union St to Johnson St – closed for sewer separation and road rehabilitation work.
Other Delays
- Bayridge Drive – Milford to Henderson – expect delays for the construction of new active transportation infrastructure and intersection upgrades.
- Cataraqui Woods Drive – Centennial to Gardiners – expect delays for the construction of a new Multi-Use Pathway.
- Front Road – Sand Bay to Country Club – expect delays for the installation of Sanitary and Water main for Utilities Kingston. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Please be aware of lane shifts, traffic speed limits, and share the lane signage.
- Highway 15 – Kingston Mills to Middle – expect delays for a contractor to complete work on the Hwy 15 CNR overhead structure.
- John Marks Avenue and Innovation Drive – expect delays while a contractor mobilizes to start work on John Marks Ave, Innovation Dr and Discovery Ave. Work includes curb, sidewalk, asphalt milling and repaving.
- Lancaster Drive – Limestone to Jasper – expect delays while a contractor completes construction of a new sidewalk and road improvements.
- Montreal Street – at John Counter - expect delays for upgrades to the intersection including new lighting, traffic signals, lanes, paving and signage to improve safety and efficiency for all road users and accommodate increased traffic from the Waaban Crossing.
- Taylor Kidd Boulevard – Collins Bay to Coronation – expect delays beginning Oct. 30 at 7 a.m. to Nov. 7 at 7pm for the replacement of two culverts.
- Truedell Road – Development to Danbury – expect delays while a contractor completes road and sidewalk improvements.
- Victoria Street and Earl Street - expect delays while a contractor mobilizes to site to start work on the second phase of reconstruction of sewer, watermain, sidewalks and road.
