Air Canada / Landline service expands at YGK Airport following strong early success
The City of Kingston, Air Canada and Landline are pleased to announce expanded service between Kingston Airport (YGK) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), following strong ridership and positive feedback from travellers since the program launched.
The new schedule adds two additional motorcoach departures as of May 1, 2026, from both airports each day, providing travellers with greater flexibility and more convenient connections to Air Canada’s global network through Toronto Pearson. The expansion reflects the growing demand for the service and the success of the innovative partnership connecting Kingston residents to destinations around the world.
“Kingston travellers have quickly recognized the value of the service. Instead of driving to Toronto, customers can start their journey close to home, park for free at YGK through January 2027, and connect seamlessly to Air Canada’s global network,” says Nicholas Johnson, Vice President, Commercial, Landline. “With twice as many daily departures and arrivals starting in May, the service becomes even more convenient and flexible for travellers across the Kingston region.”
Since its launch, passengers have embraced the service as a convenient alternative to driving to Toronto. Travellers have highlighted the comfort, reliability and seamless booking experience that allows them to check in once and then connect easily to their Air Canada flights.
“The response from our community has been incredibly positive,” said Aron Winterstein, City of Kingston Airport Manager. “This expanded schedule demonstrates the real value the service brings to Kingston by offering residents, students and visitors a reliable and convenient way to connect with destinations around the world.”
Passengers departing from Kingston experience streamlined check-in, comfortable onboard amenities and coordinated schedules with major airline partners. In addition, parking at YGK Airport is free for up to 14 days until Jan. 5, 2027.
