City of Kingston announces winner of 2026 voter sticker contest

The City of Kingston is excited to announce the winners of 2026 Municipal Election sticker contest! 

After tallying more than 1,200 votes cast online and at community events, the community has spoken and chosen two stickers:

Mavis C.'s design features the planetary system, with the sun on the right, and other planets of different colours and sizes along the left side. Written towards the left is "FUTURE VOTER". 

  • “I Voted” Design Winner: Judy O.
  • “Future Voter” Design Winner: Mavis C. 

Both designs came out on top in their respective categories and will be distributed at advance voting locations on Friday, Oct.16, and Saturday, Oct.17 and on voting day, Monday, Oct. 26. 

"This was the first time we ran the voter sticker contest and it's certainly exceeded our expectations!" says Derek Ochej, Deputy City Clerk.  "We're grateful to the more than 60 artists that submitted sticker designs and to the 1,200 community members who helped select the final designs. Congratulations Judy and Mavis!"
