Desjardins Insurance renews naming rights for ice pad at INVISTA Centre!
The City of Kingston, in partnership with Desjardins Insurance, is proud to announce the renewal of the naming rights agreement for the Desjardins Insurance rink at the INVISTA Centre. This continued partnership reinforces both organizations’ commitment to supporting active living, youth sports and inclusive community programming.
The five-year agreement ensures that the Desjardins Insurance Ice Pad remains a cornerstone of the facility, welcoming thousands of visitors each year for public skating, minor hockey, figure skating and other recreational programs.
“Desjardins Insurance has been a valued community partner, and we are thrilled to continue this relationship,” said Amy Elgersma, Director, Recreation & Leisure Services, City of Kingston. “Its ongoing support helps us maintain a high-quality space for families and athletes of all ages to enjoy.”
Philip MacLean, of Desjardins Insurance, added, “The Kingston Desjardins Agents are very excited and happy to renew our Desjardins Ice Pad Naming Agreement. The INVISTA Centre is a wonderful facility where the community comes together for fun times and can stay fit, skate, play hockey, ringette and outdoor sports too. We thank the City as well for being a great partner.”
The renewed agreement also supports facility improvements, program enhancements, and the continued promotion of accessible, affordable recreation opportunities.
