Easter holiday to affect City, Transit and Utilities Kingston schedules
The City of Kingston, Kingston Transit and Utilities Kingston schedules change this week and next due to the Easter holidays — Good Friday, April 3 and Easter Monday, April 6.
- Green bin and garbage: There is no collection on Friday, April 3 or Monday, April 6. Friday's material will be collected on Saturday, April 4. Monday's collection moves to Tuesday, April 7 and collection moves forward a day for the rest of the week. - Kingston Disposal Site (Yard waste drop-off): Closed Friday and Monday. Open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Kingston Transit: No transit service on Friday, April 3. Regular service will be operated on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The Transit Customer Service Centre and Administrative Office, located at 1181 John Counter Blvd., will be closed on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6.
- Kingston Access Bus Services (KABS): No on-road service on Friday, regular service on Saturday and Sunday, with limited service on Monday. Call 613-542-2512 for information. KAS Trip Reservation Office is closed on Friday, open regular hours on Saturday and Sunday, and open on Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Administrative offices: Closed Friday through Monday. This includes Housing and Social Services and Provincial Offences Court Offices at 362 Montreal St.
- Recreation facilities:
- INVISTA centre - Arena open Friday for the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) tournament, and open Monday for ice rentals.
- Kingston Memorial Centre, Cataraqui Community Centre, Slush Puppie Place, Artillery Park Aquatic Centre, Rideau Heights Community Centre, Kingston East Community Centre - Closed for programming on Friday and Monday; open regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.
- Kingston Frontenac Public Library: Closed Friday, Sunday and Monday; open regular hours on Saturday.
- Utilities Kingston and Kingston Hydro: Closed on Friday and Monday. Utilities Kingston customers experiencing a utility emergency such as a gas leak, power outage, or water main break, please call the 24-hour emergency line at 613-546-1181. - Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning: Closed Friday; open regular hours on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
- Walter Fenlon & Linda Ann Daly Box Office, Kingston Grand Theatre: Open Saturday from 12 to 4:30 p.m. Closed Friday, Sunday, and Monday. Tickets for all events can be purchased online 24 hours a day at KingstonGrand.ca.
- PumpHouse Museum: Closed Friday, Sunday and Monday; open regular hours on Saturday.
