Full winter parking restrictions go into effect on Jan. 1

Kingston’s blanket on-street overnight winter parking restrictions go into effect on Thursday, Jan. 1.

During January and February, overnight on-street parking is not permitted no matter the weather conditions.

During March and December, overnight on-street parking will be banned only if the weather and conditions require it.

When restrictions are in place, parking on City streets is prohibited from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. On the streets surrounding Kingston General Hospital, the ban runs from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m. Vehicles left on the street during bans are subject to ticketing and towing.
