The City of Kingston is proud to unveil the 2026–27 Grand OnStage season at Kingston Grand Theatre, inviting audiences to experience a dynamic lineup of music, dance, theatre, comedy, circus and family programming—and to purchase a subscription package early for the best value and access.

From powerful Canadian voices and internationally acclaimed performers to bold contemporary dance and family favourites, the 19th Grand OnStage season promises unforgettable live experiences for audiences of all ages. Highlights include performances by Matthew Good and His Band, Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy, Trooper, Tim Hicks, and the return of holiday classic The Nutcracker, alongside innovative works from Red Sky Performance, One Fell Swoop Circus, and Ballet Kelowna to list just a few of the more than 40 exciting 2026-2027 season presentations. As one of the City’s key cultural programs, Grand OnStage continues to bring the joy of live performance to the community while welcoming thousands of students each year through its School Performances supported by Britton Smith Foundation—often providing students with their first performing arts experience. "There’s nothing quite like the experience of live performance, and the Grand OnStage season brings that magic to life for our community year after year," said Mayor Bryan Paterson. "This new season offers something for everyone, and I’m excited to see audiences return to Kingston Grand Theatre to enjoy it together."

Community partners are essential

The Grand OnStage series is made possible with the kind support of donors, sponsors and funders who invest in live performance for the Kingston community. The Grand OnStage team is grateful to its Official Host Hotel, Kingston Marriott, and its new Executive Suite Partner, The Van Herpt Auto Group, Volvo Kingston and Mercedes-Benz Kingston. Longtime supporters of the series include performance sponsors Caldwell Advisory, Pan Chancho and Chez Piggy, and Cataraqui Cabinets. Special thanks to the Government of Canada and the Ontario Arts Council. Warm appreciation to Kingston Grand naming rights partners The Davies Charitable Foundation, Homestead and Walter Fenlon and Linda Ann Daly.
