Hanson Memorial Parking Garage rehabilitation

The Hanson Memorial Parking Garage at 105 Brock St. will undergo rehabilitation work beginning Monday, Oct. 26. The garage will remain open during construction, but parking will be temporarily unavailable on certain levels.

Work will include waterproofing repairs, minor concrete repairs and painting. Construction is expected to take approximately four to six weeks, with completion anticipated by late November or early December.

What to expect during construction

Work will take place in two phases to maintain parking availability:

Phase 1: Approximately three to four weeks

  • Levels 4 and above will be closed to parking

Phase 2: Approximately one to two weeks

  • Levels 2 and 3 will be closed to parking
  • A driving lane will remain open through Levels 2 and 3 to provide access to parking on the upper levels

Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time to find parking or consider other municipal parking options during construction. A list of municipal parking lots and garages is available on the City’s website.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these important improvements.
