Kingston Climate Summit returns for 2026 with expanded two-day event
The Kingston Climate Summit is set for June 3 and 4 at St. Lawrence College, now expanded to two full days dedicated to local climate solutions.
This year’s theme, Shaping Our Future Together, builds on last year’s momentum, bringing the community together to share ideas, strengthen partnerships and take concrete steps toward a more sustainable Kingston.
The Kingston Climate Summit is presented by ICLEI Canada, the City of Kingston and Sustainable Kingston.
We are proud to recognize Utilities Kingston as the Platinum Sponsor for the 2026 Summit. Its support helps make the event possible and demonstrates leadership in advancing local climate solutions.
"Last year’s Summit showed how much energy and creativity exist in our community," says Julia Stroud, Executive Director, Sustainable Kingston. "This year, we’re focused on deepening connections with climate action leaders, advocates, scholars and enthusiasts, and collaborating on community-based solutions."
"The City’s Strategic Plan prioritizes leading environmental stewardship and climate action, and our Climate Leadership Plan sets a clear path toward carbon neutrality and greater resilience," says Julie Salter-Keane, City of Kingston Manager, Climate Leadership. "Events like the Climate Summit bring Kingston together to turn strategy into action."
