Kingston Transit seasonal service change to begin May 2026
Starting Monday, May 4, several route and schedule updates will take place to reflect seasonal service adjustments by Kingston Transit.
The upcoming service changes will benefit transit customers by:
- Adjusting service frequency on select routes to continue providing reliable travel to passengers;
- Providing predictable weekend service across the Cataraqui River during any scheduled LaSalle Causeway closures.
Service highlights
Highlights of the spring/summer service changes include:
- Route 12 will offer service only during weekday peak times between downtown and CFB Kingston.
- Express 601/602 Sunday service will be replaced by Route 60. This will provide a flexible route option to account for any LaSalle Causeway closures required by the federal government on weekends throughout the summer.
Passengers on routes 2, 7, 10, 11, 15, 16, 19, 22, 31/32 and Express 801/802 will not experience any schedule or route changes at this time.
