Reddendale residents: learn how the City is working to mitigate stormwater issues in your neighbourhood
On June 18 from 6-7:30 p.m., the City of Kingston will host an online community meeting for residents in the Reddendale neighbourhood to discuss ongoing efforts to address local stormwater concerns. The session will include a presentation by City and Utilities Kingston staff followed by a moderated question-and-answer period, allowing Reddendale residents to ask questions and share their concerns about stormwater issues affecting their neighbourhood.
Register to attend the meeting, or for those unable to attend the session will be recorded and made available on the City's YouTube channel.
During the meeting, residents will have the opportunity to learn about:
- Why and where overflows happen – Understand the factors that contribute to stormwater overflow events in the Reddendale area
- How planned maintenance and construction aims to mitigate overflow – Receive an update on the City's proactive infrastructure work to reduce future overflow incidents and the timing of future construction projects
- What to do when an overflow occurs – Understand the steps to take if an overflow occurs and you need to report it.
