Students: Planning your move out? Don’t forget your Utilities Kingston account
It’s that time of the year again! Students are preparing for the upcoming move. This is a reminder to take a few simple steps with Utilities Kingston to ensure a smooth transition and avoid unnecessary charges.
If you’re moving out, it’s important to close your Utilities Kingston account in advance. A minimum of five business days’ notice is required to ensure your account is closed on your requested move-out date.
You can close your account:
- Online: UtilitiesKingston.com/Accounts/OpenClose/Moving
- By phone: 613-546-1181, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Customers who receive electricity or natural gas service from other providers should contact them directly:
