Temporary noise exemption request: 45 Napier St
The City of Kingston has received a request for a 1-day temporary noise exemption.
Start date and time: Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025 at 9 a.m.
End date and time: Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025 at 12 p.m.
Location: Kingston Tennis Club, 45 Napier St.
Nature of noise: To enhance the experience, amplified workout music will be played at a moderate volume during on court sessions, energizing participants while they take part in group tennis and spin activities. Amplified music typically associated with fitness activities, such as high-energy playlists used during group workouts, or outdoor exercise classes. The noise often includes rhythmic bass, fast tempo beats and increased volume levels intended to motivate participants.
