Temporary transfer point opening at Cataraqui Centre during construction

Kingston Transit is advising riders that beginning Monday, April 13, the existing Cataraqui Centre Transfer Point will be closed for construction as work begins to install new, modern transit stations. Once complete, these upgrades will improve signage, enhance comfort and create a better overall experience for riders.

During the construction period, a temporary and fully accessible transfer point will be in operation on the north side of Cataraqui Centre. Riders can access this temporary location from inside the Shopping Centre via Entrance #4 on the second floor near LL Bean and H&M.

Clear signage will be placed throughout the mall to guide riders to the temporary transfer area, and elevators are available within the facility for accessibility.

Starting at the beginning of service on April 13, all Kingston Transit routes serving Cataraqui Centre will use the temporary transfer point. Buses will not serve the current transfer point again until construction is complete.
