Ten Years Forward: Reflections on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report

Join Marie Wilson, Canadian journalist and Truth and Reconciliation Commission commissioner, and Stephen Kakfwi, Dene leader and former Northwest Territories premier, for an informal conversation on the progress made toward reconciliation since the release of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report in 2015. 

Marie and Stephen will look back at the past decade and discuss the opportunities and challenges ahead. They will also share reflections from their 2025 publications: North of Nowhere by Marie Wilson and Stoneface: A Defiant Dene by Stephen Kakfwi.

On Sunday Feb. 22, 2026 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall in City Hall, 216 Ontario St.
