Conserve water and save money with a Utilities Kingston rain barrel
This news release is being shared on behalf of Utilities Kingston
Kingston residents still have time to get their hands on a rain barrel and make the most of the season. Utilities Kingston’s annual rain barrel program is ongoing, offering an easy, practical way to conserve water and take climate action at home.
Offered at cost and delivered directly to residents’ doors, these repurposed rain barrels turn rainfall into a valuable resource for lawns, gardens, and outdoor use. By collecting rainwater, residents can reduce reliance on treated water and ease pressure on local water and sewer systems.
Each barrel is made from durable, food-grade plastic that has been repurposed to extend its life and keep materials out of landfills. Designed for convenience, the barrels come equipped with a lid and spigot for easy everyday use.
Customers who receive a Utilities Kingston bill can order up to two rain barrels per account. Priced at $80, including delivery, the barrels offer an affordable way to support more sustainable water use at home.
Quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Utilities Kingston’s long-running rain barrel program helps residents conserve water and advance environmental sustainability through simple, effective actions. For more information or to order online, visit UtilitiesKingston.com/RainBarrels.
