Kingston Transit to begin seasonal service change in early September

Starting Monday, Sept. 7, several transit route and schedule updates will take place to reflect Kingston Transit’s annual fall service adjustments.

The upcoming service changes will benefit transit customers by:

• Adjusting service frequency on select routes to continue providing reliable travel to passengers;
• Providing enhanced connectivity between Kingston and Amherstview.

Service highlights

Highlights of the fall service changes include:

• Route 10 will offer more frequent service to provide greater access to the Barr Homes Aquatic Centre in Amherstview.
• Route 12 will offer weekday service every 10 minutes between St. Lawrence College, Queen’s University, Kingston General Hospital and downtown (from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.)
• Weekday timing adjustments to improve reliability on Express 701/702, Express 801/802, and routes 2, 10, 31 and 32.
