Remembrance Day 2026 Civic Ceremony and service impacts

Every year on Nov. 11, Canadians gather in communities across the country to honour those who have served and continue to serve Canada during times of war, conflict and peace.

The community is invited to attend a Civic Service of Remembrance on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at the Cross of Sacrifice Cenotaph in Macdonald Park, located on King St. at George St. Spectators are encouraged to arrive by 10:40 a.m. to watch the parade ahead of the Civic Service of Remembrance, which will begin at 10:45 a.m.
