What's new for DASH this year?
The City continues to focus on providing the best quality of service. We appreciate the feedback that has been offered and are working to upgrade DASH in the fall of 2017. Our objective is to improve the customer experience and prepare for the implementation of additional services coming online in the DASH system.
2017 updates will include:
- upgrades to make it compatible with today's web browsers
- security improvements
- document upload and download performance improvements
- a new user-friendly map viewer which removes the need to use Silverlight
Why has the City invested in DASH?
DASH is here to help you manage and monitor active development files from the comfort of your office or home. Planning services are currently available on DASH and building services are scheduled to be added in 2018.
Clarity and transparency
With DASH, the City can now share real-time application processing information with our customers so they know exactly where they are in the approvals process and what the next steps are. Our customer portal allows interested residents to search DASH to see where active development applications are located, the types of proposals, current status and supporting information.
Monitoring with metrics
DASH is the tool the City uses to develop accurate and timely reporting on how we are meeting or exceeding our service standards. Our commitment to our customers and our community is to provide service excellence and continuous improvement.
