Committees with youth positions are the Arts, Culture and Heritage Advisory Committee, Housing and Homelessness Advisory Committee, and Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee.
Applicants should review the mandate, responsibilities and eligibility requirements of committees, working groups and boards before applying.
"Committees, working groups and boards provide an opportunity for residents and business owners to get involved in issues they care about and learn more about how local government works," says Derek Ochej, Deputy City Clerk. "Whether someone is applying for the first time or interested in another term, we encourage interested community members to explore the opportunities available."
Information about committee mandates, eligibility requirements and the application process is available at CityofKingston.ca/Committees.
Applications close on Nov. 23. Apply online or visit City Hall.
